John Butt

Lead Architect and director, John Butt has over 25 years of experience working at the forefront of architectural design and project management. John graduated in 1999 and became a registered Architect in 2016. John is a member of the RIAI and was previous chair of the RIAI Southern Region Committee.

John’s particular skills beyond Architectural Design extend to Planning Consultations, Building Control and BCAR Procedures, Environmental and Energy Conservation Designs, Historic Building Conservation including preparing Architectural Heritage Impact Assessments, and acting as PSDP under the current Health and Safety Act. 

John has excellent knowledge of the requirements under Part L of the Building Regulations and NZEB requirements. John is accredited with Grade 3 in Building Conservation. John is a 3D Modeller and proficient in an array of design software.
